There’s no denying that Tavi Gevinson is one uber-cool 18-year-old. The style, the old-soul appreciation for all things 60s, the magazine, the fledging film career, and now, a Broadway debut.

It makes perfect sense that New York Magazine decided to put the wunderkind on their cover, and oh what a cover! Seriously, how fabulous is that look?

While most of (well, all) of my how-tos are usually straight from the makeup artist or hairstylist with the exact products used, this look was just too fun for me to pass up, so below, I’ve selected products we can all use to recreate this fabulous look.

1. Mally Beauty Evercolor eyeliner in Ice Blue
These liners go on super creamy, so they are easy to apply and smudge up on the lid to recreate Tavi’s slightly messy, smudged look.

2. Benefit BadGal Mascara
I love the brush and formula of BADgal to get the long, defined lashes we see in the picture. Use a bunch of coats!

3. Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Toast
The perfect matte, brown shadow to smudge in the outer corners of the lower lashline.

4. Mally Beauty Mattewand Eye Brightener
You may not have noticed it, but the wide-awake look Tavi’s sporting is due in part to lining her lower waterline with a nude, shimmery liner. This one is perfect to brighten that area.

5. Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in Lovesick
The best way to get this ‘just ate a popsicle’ look is with a lip stain, and this one is the perfect juicy shade. If you apply and it looks too perfect (Tavi’s is so amazing because of how almost careless the application looks), blot a little with a tissue.

6. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz
I love this brow liner because of the attached spooley brush, so you can get a ‘just better than natural’ look.
